Waste Water Quest

This is an educational video from Southern Water to explain the waste water process to children in schools.

The video saw Elisha and Logan hosting a quiz show, with cuts to the local treatment centre to explain the process as well as interviews from Southern Water employees.

It was fun to oversee the filming of Logan and Elisha, who did a great job delivering their lines from big oil drums that served as their podiums against a green screen. The edit involved lots of careful keying (so much curly hair!) and rifling through hours of b-roll from the local treatment centre. It was very interesting to see the collection of objects people had flushed down toilets!

The video was created in Premiere Pro, with motion graphics added in from After Effects.
